Seguin Victims of I-37 Bus Crash Released From Hospital

Friday, December 10th, 2010

The Seguin Gazette reports that the Seguin-area couple that was injured in last week’s tour bus crash on I-37 in Atascosa County have been released from San Antonio area hospitals this week. Roman and Diana Medina of Seguin were 2 of 30 people injured following the crash of an Americanos USA tour bus that was on its way to Mexico when it crashed, most likely because of mechanical failures in the bus’ drive shaft. Two people died in that crash, and 30 others were injured, sending victims to at least 3 different hospitals, including Brooke Army Medical Center and Wilford Hall Medical Center in San Antonio, where the Medina’s were released from earlier this week. Roman Medina reportedly was discharged entirely and went home, while his wife Diana was transferred to the Guadalupe Valley Nursing Center to continue her recovery.
