(New Braunfels, TX) -- Initially thought to be a missing swimmer in the Comal River, a San Antonio woman was arrested earlier this week for trespassing after hours at Schlitterbahn.

A little after 10pm Monday officers were called out to Prince Solms Park for initial reports of a woman who had gone missing. The female was with friends who told police that she was intoxicated and after they had exited the river the woman had decided to jump back in, in the area of the Garden Street Bridge.

Described as an Hispanic female with long curly brown hair, and wearing a black and white zebra print bikini, New Braunfels Police, Fire, and EMS crews began searching the river for the woman.

But after talking with some eyewitnesses, they learned the woman had exited the river and hopped a fence onto Schlitterbahn property.

Later, an officer actually saw the woman walking through the empty, dark property carrying a blue and white water park tube.

The woman, allegedly intoxicated, matched the description of the missing woman and admitted that she had left her friends and then entered the water park property without consent.

22-year old Irene Paloma Gonzalez was then arrested for Criminal Trespass and taken to the Comal County Jail, where she posted a 15-hundred dollar bond the next day and was released. She was also issued a criminal trespass warning, keeping her from returning to the property.
