Man Pinned Between Cars at Local Car Wash Airlifted to San Antonio Hospital
(New Braunfels, TX) -- A 65-year old New Braunfels man was Airlifted to a San Antonio area hospital after he was pinned between two vehicles at a local car wash yesterday afternoon.
The incident happened just before 2pm yesterday in the 1-thousand block of northbound Bus. 35 at the Wash Tub car wash location.
Witnesses called 911 and when New Braunfels Fire and EMS units arrived on scene the 65-year old man was no longer pinned between the two cars, but was badly injured.
An Airlife helicopter was called in and landed at nearby Churchill Middle School.
The injured man was taken to University Hospital in San Antonio for treatment.
Crews were on scene for less than an hour, clearing the area around 2:30 yesterday afternoon.
