Man Arrested For DWI After Crashing Through Fence

(New Braunfels, TX) -- A New Braunfels man is facing DWI charges after he drove through a fence, ending up in the backyard of a home this past Saturday morning. The incident happened just after midnight on Saturday after 41-year-old Anthony Hill, who was driving on Jared Street, failed to maneuver properly while turning causing his vehicle to plow right through a fence and into the backyard of a home in the 1600 block of Sunfire Circle. Once police arrived on scene, he was given a breathalyzer test and failed. Hill was found to be uninjured but was arrested and booked into the Guadalupe County Jail. He later posted a 15-hundred dollar bond and was released.
