Local Facebook Group Raises Money For Family Of 2-Year Old Drowning Victim
(New Braunfels, TX) -- While many in New Braunfels continue to mourn the drowning death of 2-year old Violet Tischer, who tragically drowned this past Friday, a group of local facebook moms is doing their part to lend a helping hand. The Moms of New Braunfels Facebook community set up a fund raising goal of $5000 on Saturday and by Sunday they had already met that goal. This week they will be painting the town purple by hanging purple ribbons and balloons around New Braunfels in order to show their support for the family and their loss. Organizer Evan Partee says they are looking for anyone who would like to volunteer or donate to the fund to call 210-867-5615 or search “Moms of New Braunfels” on facebook help show your support.
