Community Meetings This Week Before Kim Begins as CISD Superintendent
(New Braunfels, TX) -- Next week, Andrew Kim will officially leave his position as Superintendent of the Manor ISD and become the new Superintendent of the Comal ISD, replacing the retiring Dr. Marc Walker.
Kim was named the lone finalist for the CISD’s Superintendent position last month, and his first day on the job is set for next week Monday, July 23rd. But over the next few days, Comal ISD residents will have a chance to meet the new man in charge of the district during a series of community meetings.
The first of those meetings is tomorrow evening at 6 in the Foyer at Smithson Valley High School, followed by another meeting on Wednesday afternoon at 4 at the CISD Support Services Building off of I-35 near Canyon High School. And the final community meeting will actually come after Kim starts his new job. That final meeting is set for next week Tuesday, the 24th, at 6pm at Canyon Lake High School.
Each reception will have light refreshments, and Comal ISD residents are invited to come and meet Kim and ask him questions as he takes over the reins of the school district.
