After a day and a half of heavy rainfall, the City of New Braunfels announced around 11:30 this morning that it would be temporarily closing the Comal and Guadalupe Rivers inside the city limits. That means, despite the Memorial Day weekend crowds, recreational activities on the city’s two rivers are temporarily closed, until further notice...
