It looks like New Braunfels was one of 6 Texas cities to get a large donation of smoke detectors that will eventually be placed in homes of those who do not already have smoke detectors.

The Comal County Public Health Office is reminding residents that now is the time to get your seasonal flu shot. Those vaccines are a good way to keep from getting sick, especially for certain parts of the population, like young children, pregnant mothers, and the elderly.
